A Good Read!
Brussels Junior High/High School has some new books in the library thanks to the ESSER III grant. Mrs. Hartle and Mrs. T. Long helped make book selections to bolster our school's library. We are so excited to have so many new books for our students to choose from!

Tutoring & P/T Conferences
Tutoring on October 22 and 24 will be cancelled as these are Parent/Teacher Conferences nights. If you have not filled out your form to register for junior high and high school conferences, please check you email to do so. If you have questions, please call Mrs. P. Long. See everyone then!

The Brussels CUSD 42 PE Department is accepting donations of softball and baseball gloves and tennis rackets. If you have any extras that you are not using, please drop them off at the office in the elementary building. Thanks so much!

The Art Expressions class was at it again. This time, learning from some of Brussels’ most talented ladies. On Wednesday, we sat down with the St. Mary’s quilting ladies and learned some ins and outs. A couple of our girls even dared to sew a few stitches. On Thursday, we went to St. Matthew’s and talked with the quilting ladies there. These ladies know so much about the art of quilting and were eager to share their knowledge. We are so appreciative they kindly welcomed us and are truly blessed to have them as a part of our community.

Watch out for these Greek Mythology Experts! Mrs. Cundiff's 5/6 class has been studying Greek Mythology, and did presentations on what they learned. They had their own creative freedom to choose how they presented, and they did a fantastic job!
