CALLING ALL 7/8 GRADE STUDENTS!
On November 23, Jersey Community Hospital will host a STEM day for 7th & 8th grade students who may be interested in exploring the medical/surgical areas in an interactive way. The attached flyer contains all the information needed to register. This opportunity is a collaboration between Illinois Mathematics & Science Academy and Central IL Rural Region, Career & Tech. Education.
Reminder to all veterans and their guests: The Veterans' Day Program at the BHS gym is Friday, November 8th. Doors will open at 8:30 with refreshments. The program will start at 9:30 with entertainment provided by the schools. Parking will be available across from the grade school and by the gym as the ball field will be quite wet yet. If you need assistance or special parking, please let us know. Remember to bring any pictures or mementoes you would like to display. We look forward to a wonderful morning honoring you!

The Grade School, Junior High, and High School classes all participated in a Door Decorating Contest for Red Ribbon Week. Unfortunately, we could only choose 2 winners. Congratulations to the 5th & 6th Grade Class and Ms. Stephens' class! Thank you to all of the teachers for participating!
To celebrate the upcoming Presidential Election, the 5th & 6th graders had their own election! They held their very own Presidential Debate, with a live audience, to vote on who would be the next Class President. The vote will be held on Monday, November 4th. Good Luck to all of the candidates!

Congratulations to all of our High Honor and Honor Roll Students! They've really been working hard this quarter, and we're all excited to see the continuous growth from all of our students!
BGS K-6 enjoyed a field trip to Eckerts last Friday. They took a wagon ride to pick pumpkins, fed the goats, played on the playground, and enjoyed a picnic lunch!
There will be a display table at the Veteran's Day program on November 8th. We welcome attendees to bring pictures, medals, and/or special mementos to commemorate this special day. Thank you.
